Upper Dublin Lutheran Church has a history of generosity in sharing time, talent and treasure. As we continue to focus on With Glad and Generous Hearts, we will shine a spotlight on a few of the many ministries we have at UDLC. THis Sunday, the 14th, Bob Masser, Traci Clapham and Connor Niemira will share what their ministry is and how it has affected their faith. Find out how you, too, can support or advance these ministries.
Do you cringe and want to walk away every time you hear someone say “stewardship” or “fundraising”? What is behind that reaction? Are you afraid that person is going to ask you to give more than you have (of time or money) and you don’t want to appear ungenerous? Perhaps we can turn that reaction on its head, and instead, see stewardship or fundraising as an opportunity or invitation to do something that is both meaningful to us and helpful to others. We can make a difference in this world using the gifts God has entrusted us with.
